Adding a Taylorglaze orangery onto your home immediately provides the extra light and living space you’ve
always wanted. Orangeries represent the ideal combination of the benefits and looks of a conventional extension and a conservatory. Orangeries are wonderfully light and airy spaces due to the amount of glazing but have a substantial appearance that blends naturally with your home, as well as being cosy and inviting throughout the year.

What are the differences between an Orangery and a Conservatory?

Traditionally a conservatory was all glass whereas and orangery was part brick and part glass. In modern
parlance these boundaries have become blurred with many conservatories now featuring dwarf brick walls as a
base for the glass elevation. At Taylorglaze we don’t get hung up on terminology, you tell us what you have in
mind and we’ll build it. What you call it is up to you!
